HEAVENLY HASH BROWNIES
Ingredients
3/4 Cup Flour
1 Cup Granulated White Sugar
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, Sifted
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Stick of Butter, Melted
2 Large Eggs, Beaten
2 tsps. pure Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
2 Handfuls of Mini Marshmallows
For the Frosting:
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
1/4 Cup Sifted Cocoa Powder
1/4 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Sifted Powdered Sugar
3/4 Cup Flour
1 Cup Granulated White Sugar
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, Sifted
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Stick of Butter, Melted
2 Large Eggs, Beaten
2 tsps. pure Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
2 Handfuls of Mini Marshmallows
For the Frosting:
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
1/4 Cup Sifted Cocoa Powder
1/4 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Sifted Powdered Sugar
To make the chocolate frosting, pour all ingredients into a medium bowl. Beat with whisk until smooth. Spread on the marshmallows.
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 8 x 8 pan set aside
In a medium bowl, Whisk together all of your dry ingredients, Flour, Sugar, Sifted Cocoa Powder, Baking Powder and Salt. Set aside
In a small bowl, Beat together the Butter, Eggs and Vanilla. Combine with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Stir in the 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake on a middle rack of the oven for 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle the marshmallows on top. Put back in the oven for a few minutes to melt the marshmallows. Remove from the oven and carefully spread the chocolate frosting on top. Sprinkle additional chopped pecans on top. Let cool and cut into squares.
