PATRIOTIC FLAG CAKE



Patriotic Flag Cake -

Ingredients:
2 pints of Strawberries
2 pints of Blueberries...
2 Family Sized (or about 3 regular sized) Packages of Sara Lee Pound Cake
2 Containers of Lite Cool Whip
1. Slice the pound cake into about ½” thick slices, and lay them horizontally on the bottom of a rectangular baking dish until you can fit no more.
2. Once those are laid out, spread some of the Cool Whip on until the pieces of pound cake are covered.
3. Sprinkle some blueberries on this layer as well. Then chop up some strawberries and sprinkle them on the bottom. You can add as much or as little as you’d like. (This is the middle layer so it doesn't have to look pretty!)
4. Once that is done, take some more of the pound cake slices and place them on top of the blueberries and strawberries.
5. Neatly spread some Cool Whip on the top of the slices.
6. In the top left hand corner of your baking dish, place similarly sized blueberries in the shape of a square, representing the stars on the flag.
7. Then slice similarly sized strawberries in half lengthwise.
8. Place strawberries in a line all the way across to represent the stripes.
