Mel’s Blackened Tilapia with Lemon Dill Yogurt Sauce
3-4 oz Tilapia or any white fish
Mrs.Dash Lemon Pepper and Garlic Herb seasonings
Chicken broth
2c Greek yogurt
1-2 garlic cloves, grated
Lemon zest, (of one whole lemon)
¼ tsp Black pepper
¼ tsp Celtic sea salt
2 TBSP dill, fresh or dried
For sauce, combine yogurt, garlic, lemon zest, pepper, salt, and dill. Mix together and put in the fridge until ready to use. Heat a skillet until it’s nice and hot (spray w olive oil if needed) Heavily season fish on both sides with MD lemon pepper and garlic and herb seasonings. Add fish to hot pan, reduce heat to medium high heat. Add chicken broth to pan if fish begins to stick, cook both sides until completely cooked.. When finished, top fish with yogurt sauce and serve w broccoli. Enjoy!!
