CHEESY HAM AND POTATO SOUP

CHEESY HAM & POTATO SOUP
2 lbs ham, cubed
7 medium size potatoes, cubed
Large onion, diced 
½ head of broccoli, chopped
½ pint heavy cream
Water
16 oz Mexican blend shredded cheese 
Garlic powder and black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Fill a big soup pot about half full of water. Add ham and bring to a low boil. Let this boil while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. Add potatoes, onion, broccoli and spices. Bring to a low boil again and let it boil until potatoes are tender. Add cream and cheese, stir well. Cover and let simmer for 20+ minutes. Enjoy!
