CHILI CHIP CASSEROLE

Chili-Chip Casserole

1 lb. Ground Beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
1 6-oz. Can Tomato Paste
4 cups Corn Chips
1 Can Ranch Style Beans
2 Cups grated Cheddar Cheese

Serve with:
Sour Cream (optional)
Salsa (optional)

Directions:
Cook beef in skillet until brown. Drain. Stir in onion, chili seasoning mix, tomato paste and ¾ cup water; simmer for 10 minutes. Place 2 cups corn chips in 2-quart casserole; spoon ½ of the beef mixture over chips. Place ½ cup beans over beef mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Add remaining beef mixture and beans. Place remaining corn chips over top; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake for 10 minutes longer.
Yield: 4 servings
