JELLO CAKE

Jello Cake
I don't know where this recipe came from. I have just always made it.
1..Betty Crocker white cake mix.....
Bake according to directions using two 9 inch round cake pans.
1. 4oz box if strawberry banana jello
1. 4oz box of lime jello
1. 8oz cool whip
Directions:
Bake at temperature on cake mix.
When they are done set on a cooling rack for ten minutes to cool. Remove from pans onto racks to finish cooling.
Don't wash cake pans instead spray them with nonstick cooking spray. After the cakes are cooled place them back into the pans.
Use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes in the cakes.
Now you need two cups for the jello. Empty jello into each cup and add 3/4 cup boiling water to each one and stir untill desolved.
Spoon each cup of jello onto each cake.
Place cakes into refrigerator for about 4 hours to set.
Turn green one onto plate and spread with cool whip.
Add the red one on top and cover with cool whip.
Delicious!!
This cake is one of those that tastes better the next day!
I also make a low fat version.
Use 1/2 cup of applesauce instead of oil, unsweetened jello gelatin and low fat cool whip.
It is still delicious!'┊ ┊ ┊ ☆ Follow me --->https://www.facebook.com/michele.wrecsics.7?fref=nf
