1 Jumbo can of biscuits
6 eggs
1/2 c. milk
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1 lb. breakfast sausage
1 c. shredded cheese
1 can diced green chiles, drained
Gravy
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 c. milk
Take the biscuits and cut them into 8 pieces each. Coat a 9" x 13" baking dish with cooking spray. Toss biscuit pieces into dish and set aside.
Cook sausage until thoroughly cooked and not pink. Set aside.
Mix eggs, 1/2 c. milk, green chiles, and seasonings in a bowl. Set aside.
Last make your gravy by melting butter in small° skillet or pan. Slowly add flour and seasonings into butter, stirring well to prevent clumping. Stir flour mixture for 1 minute to help thicken a bit. Slowly add the remaining 2 cups of milk into flour mixture and stir well. Again try to prevent clumping.
Layer the ingredients on top of the biscuit pieces: sausage, cheese, egg mixture and then gravy. Spread gravy around to cover the entire casserole.
