Red Velvet Cupcakes
1cup Crisco
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4cups flour
1cup buttermilk
1tsp.vanilla
1/4 cup red food coloring
2Tbsp.vinegar
1tsp.salt
2Tbsp.cocoa
1tsp.baking soda
Frosting : Cream Cheese Icing ( store bought )
Mix Cream ,Sugar,and Crisco until fluffy.Add eggs and beat 1 min.
Put vanilla into buttermilk and add alternately with flour to mixture.
Add vinegar and backing soda . Make a paste of food coloring ,cocoa and salt.Add to mixture.Bake 30 minutes at 350 Degrees or until toothpick inserted in cupcakes come out clean. Cool and frost
