RED VELVET CUPCAKE

RED VELVET CREAM FILLED CUPCAKES
You will need:
1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 Box of Instant Chocolate pudding
4 Eggs
1 Cup of Sour Cream
1/3 Cup Oil
1 oz Red Food Coloring
Blend all the ingredients but the food coloring until mixed
Add the food coloring and mix on high speed for 2 minutes.
Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes
Frosting: (This is a recipe my Mom always made when I was growing up. It's light and fluffy - very good for filling)
1 Cup Milk
5 T Flour
Mix well and cook til thick (like peanut butter consistency)
Cool
In a bowl mix 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of Crisco and 1 teaspoon vanilla
When the flour mixture is cooled - beat both mixtures until well blended
I used the rounded end of a spoon to make a hole in the center of each cupcake, then with a freezer bag, I piped the frosting into the cupcake then frosted.
