TURKEY PASTA DISH


Turkey Pasta Dish---Even the grandchildren love this!!!

Serving Size: 2

Ingredients:

6.6 ounces 99% lean ground turkey ( I use Jenny O Turkey)

1 tablespoon of olive oil ( I use Phillip Berrio Cold Expeller Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

5.5 ounces of Whole Wheat Whole Grain Pasta ( I use Hodgson Mill thin spaghetti)

1 cup of Prego Light Smart Traditional Spaghetti Sauce

1 1/2 cup of Hunts no salt added diced tomatoes with Basil,Garlic and Oregano.

Crystal Farms finely shredded Parmesan cheese.

Directions:

Start your water to boiling for your pasta. Once you get the past in the pan then add your 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil to a frying pan and on low heat cook your 6.6 ounces of turkey. When pasta is done drain and add half to each of 2 microwave safe bowls about the size of cereal bowls. Then add your 1/2 cup of Prego Light Smart Traditional Spaghetti Sauce to each bowl and 3/4 of a cup of Hunts no salt added diced tomatoes with Basil,Garlic and Oregano and stir them each. Then add 1/2 the turkey to each bowl and top with your Crystal Farms finely shredded Parmesan cheese to your taste. Put one bowl in the microwave and heat for 1 min then check to see if cheese is melted. If not re-heat for 30 min. increments until the cheese is melted. Then microwave the second bowl the same way and enjoy!!!!
